The campaign, chronicled at our Holocron of Zend wiki, ran for two and a half years. It saw a ragtag group of freighter pilots, techs, and muscle turn into the founders of Binary Transports Corporation, and the rise of a number of several padawans to the rank of Jedi Knight.

We may return to that far, far away galaxy at a later date — likely through one-shots at Nuke(m)Con — but for now the campaign has run its course. Read more about the campaign’s end in my farewell column at Nuketown.

Continuing the adventures of Blackrazor Guild founder Brant Bladescream, the dungeoncrawl saw the heroes descending into the depths of a ruined temple of an ancient, chained god in CY 576. 

Twenty years later, redshirts of the Blackrazor Guild would once again face the followers of Tharizdun as they battled their way through the Temple of Elemental Evil. The adventure saw the heroes, led by the Blackrazor-wielding Bladescream, slaughter the norkers, trolls and giants infesting the upper levels of the temple, only to be stopped by two stone golem guardians. Rather than risk certain death, the Blackrazors decided to flee the temple with their accumulated plunder.

  • Koth: Zabrak bounty hunter and occasional freelance assasian/kidnapper … at least until a botched job for Pirate Lord Ral Duris put a price on his own head.
  • Morgwa, the Roar of Ithor: an Ithorian bounty hunter specializing for non-lethal takedowns. Known associate of Koth.
  • Neeida: a Rodian quickdraw artist. Known associate of Koth.

In Episode 9: The Mandalorian Wars, we’re taking a break from our regular characters to play Mandalorians at the start of the Mandalorian Wars, the precursor conflict to the Jedi Civil War featured in Knights of the Old Republic.

For those who are curious, this calendar uses a WordPress plugin to display a calendar created and maintained in Google Calendar.  In other site news, the navigation is working (News now links to the news archive, Forums links to the forum index, etc.). Next up are a photo gallery, a private address book for the group and a game library.

For most of that time, it served as the repository for information about our long-running World of Greyhawk campaign, a task that since been taken over by our Greyhawk wiki. With the wiki operational — and with more and more group members blogging — we decided to re-configure the GriffCrier to serve as a portal for our web content.

The new site has news about our various campaigns, recent headlines from member blogs, and background information about our group. We hope you enjoy the new site; feel free to tell us what you think about it by leaving a comment or emailing us at scribe@griffcrier.com.
